What is Hope 4 the ‘Burgh?

Hope 4 the ‘Burgh is a Pittsburgh-wide event sponsored by the Network of Hope, a local nonprofit organization.  Our mission is to promote lasting change, one step at a time.  This event will help accomplish our mission as we join together with others to give back to their communities through a FREE Service Fair of goods & services.


  • CARE for communities through practical helps & services
  • COLLABORATE with businesses, churches, nonprofits, government & civic groups
  • CREATE awareness about the resources within each community

The event happens Saturday, August 13th, 2011 from 12pm-4pm in EIGHT locations.


  • Backpack & school supply distribution for elementary students
  • Health Screenings such as vision & dental
  • Games & activities
  • Grocery distribution to each household represented
  • Entertainment
